Favorite verses

Liz and her brother, Jim, at the homecoming!

I have a lot of faith and hope but let me tell you, last week was one of the most helpless feelings I have had in a long time. If you have had moments of helplessness in your life and there is a favorite bible verse or inspirational verse you can share with me I would love to have it. I want to arm myself with verses that can help me and possible help Elizabeth through next week. One that is bound to be another "helpless feeling" times.

Thank you for praying, being faithful, and riding this roller coaster with us.

Blessings,
Christine

Proverbs 3:5 - 6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not on your own understanding. In all your wasy acknowledge Him, and He will guide your path.

Hope that speaks to your heart. It's my life verse b/c honestly, I just don't get life. That's where the trust comes in.

Blessings and Prayers....Lisa

Phillipians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers, Liz. The Hembrees

2 Timothy 1:12
That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day.

Is anyone crying for help? God is listening, ready to rescue you: "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit." Psalm 34:17-18. Thank you Lord that in our distress we can call on you and you promise to hear our voice and answer. Psalm 18:6-- "A hostile world! I call to God, I cry to God to help me. From his palace he hears my call; my cry brings me right into his presence-a private audience!" Praying 4 U!

Hi, I came across this website through old friends. I'm a senior and used to have classes with some of your kids before I moved from Mason.

Isaiah 41:10, 13

"So, do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand." "For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you."

It can seem so hard but to rely solely on God will be the only thing that can truly strengthen you. Praying for your family
