Sunday Nov. 2, Day 6

Just wanted to update everyone quickly; Elizabeth is receiving a blood transfusion today. Her white blood cell count is at zero which means she has no ability to fight off any type of virus, bacteria, or any type of cough cold...etc...

Elizabeth will not be able to see visitors today due to that fact and the complications that can arise due to the transfusion.

Please continue to pray for few complications; or none would be better; and hopefully she will be able to see people again soon.

Elizabeth has school, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and numerous doctors in and out in the mornings and makes it difficult for her to have visitors before 2:00pm.

I just want to thank everyone for all the prayers, cards, meals, gifts, visit, etc....there is no way I can can even begin to tell you how much love and support we feel from each and everyone of you; nor will I ever get out thank-you notes...I am good but not that good; so much came in when I could not even think or see clearly. All I do know is that it came and continues to come through one of the hardest times of our lives and it is, and you are, a true blessing to this family.

Please continue to pray for Elizabeth and the Lothrop family. It is by Gods grace and your prayers and support that we are doing as well as we are. Remember, Tues. is a big day and we are praying for her to be a Rapid Responder and have minimal effects from the chemo.

Love and blessings to all,
Christine

Liz & Family,
Sorry you can't have visitors today, but we will pray for a quiet day of R&R for you all, and that the white cell count gets back up there where it belongs. We love you, and are thanking God for the great reports and progress over this last week.

Hey LiZZY!
Thats a bummer you can't have any visitors todayy! :( I am praying that you will be a rapid responder and that the white blood cells will go back to normal for you to be able to except visitors this Friday the 7th! I'm very happy the chemo is working and can't wait until you are able to come back to school! I miss your beautiful smile in the halls! Also, I found a ton of pictures from my 13th birthday party and wow-o-wow we are some silly girls! Hahah. They are hilarious! Well, I'm praying hard for ya babe! (: (:

Hey Liz!
I am totally wearing orange on Tuesday, even though few people will see me since I work from home! But I'll be connected to you, your family and friends that day in a very special way! Hey, I know today might be long for you, but it's also a good day for you to rest and be good to your body. It's working so hard these days fighting off this leukemia! Today will be a good day for your body to RE-ENERGIZE and gear up for another very important week. The Dodson family continues to think, talk and pray about you every day. YOUR job is to continue doing the great job that you are with treatment. Attitude is everything, and you have shown us all that you are showing this leukemia thing one heck of an attitude! You go GIRL!
Love,
Mrs. D.

Hey Liz and fam
Hope you had a restful day, I am glad to hear that you liked your bracelet..the EGL bracelets are a hot item...all the kids are wanting one and adults too..so this is the idea..

Annie and I are making bracelets. The cost is 5.00, the money will help cover the supplies and the rest will go to Liz and family..
This will help with gas, food, and whatever else they need.
If you would like to have an EGL (Elizabeth Grace Lothrop) bracelet with bright orange colors. Just email kbjones@cinci.rr.com.
Please pass the word onto kids at school. We will do our best to get in touch with you and get your braclets to you..lets keep lifting up Liz and help her fight this fight...don't forget to wear orange on Tuesday...
Hugs,
Kristi

Hello Liz, and Lothrop family,
My name is Don Moss, and I am the brother-in-law of Jamie Griese, who used to school your father in high school basketball. I played basketball with Liz's uncle's Don, and Dave while her father Randy watched in amazement :)
Liz, I have been praying for you and your family daily from up here in cold Canada, along with my friends and church. Please know that God is with you always through every test through every moment.
My song today for you is here:

We are praying for you and your family every single day! One of our family's favorite bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11 "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to proser you and not to harm you, plans to give a hope and a future.'" May this verse comfort you....we love you Lizzy!!!!
